Proper British Advent Countdown | Printable Download

Make December a little more magical with the Proper British Advent Countdown – 24 fold-and-open countdown cards, each with a simple, low-cost family activity to share before the big day.

Think hot chocolate and a Christmas film, a kitchen disco, paper snowflakes for the window, a pyjama picnic tea or a thank-you note for your postie. Most of the activities cost nothing at all, and they suit families of all shapes and sizes.

Print at home on A4 card, cut, fold and peg them on a string, pop them in envelopes or pile them in a jar. Then colour in one bauble a day on the countdown tree chart until the star on the 25th. Six blank cards let you swap in your own ideas.

Digital download. Designed in our bold North & Ink style and works beautifully in black and white too. Grown-ups help with scissors and cutting. If you put out food for the garden birds, use bird-safe food, not bread or salty scraps. For personal use only. Not for resale or redistribution.
